Notre histoire
SRL Pol Laurent, a family business founded in 1946, initially operated in national and international transport. Faced with the growing demand for construction materials after the war, it shifted its focus to the valorization of red shale spoil heaps, rehabilitating seven sites in the Mons region through an environmentally friendly approach.
Over the years, the company expanded its offering by including sand and gravel. In 2001, it launched the Moaistone brand to diversify its activities into ornamental stone, becoming a key player in the field of mineral decorative materials.
In September 2023, the Liénart family took over the company with the objective of diversifying its offering while preserving the founding values of Moaistone. In January 2024, Moaistone acquired Hergo Bétons, specialized in concrete fencing, and in May 2024, it also took over the transport company Trans Mons, in order to optimize the supply chain and better meet customer needs.
In 2026, Pol Laurent SRL entered a new strategic phase by merging its two entities under the single name Hergo. This decision aims to strengthen its identity and provide a solid foundation for its various activities, while maintaining Moaistone as a brand dedicated to decorative aggregates. This change reflects the company’s desire to simplify and strengthen its structure by offering a unified image while preserving the expertise and values that have driven its success.

- 196 panneaux photovoltaïques placés sur le site de Baudour.
- Certification EMAS obtenue pour le site « La Morette ».
- Favorisation du transport par voie fluviale.
- Recyclage des déchets, des huiles de moteur, du bois des palettes usagées, des sacs inutilisés, des cartouches d’encre.
- Réduction de la consommation de papier grâce à l’e-facturation.
- Utilisation d’ampoules à basse consommation.
- Filtration des rejets d’eau via des bassins de décantation.
- Entretien permanent du matériel.
Social
- Proposition de formations aux salariés tout au long de l’année.
- Surveillance de la santé des travailleurs occupant des postes à risques par le biais de la médecine du travail.
